Harry Brignull
Harry Brignull is user experience lead at Madgex, based out of Brighton, England. Harry has a PhD in Cognitive Science, and is an accomplished consultant and researcher. Harry's work involves building better experiences by blending user research, interaction design and process consultancy. He is currently working hard at optimizing the conversion rates for Madgex's digital recruitment software, which handles roughly 2 million job-seekers per week on sites including The GuardianThe Times, and about 150 others across the world. In previous roles, Harry has also consulted for Nokia, British Airways, Vodafone, O2 and various others.

In his spare time, Harry also runs a blog at 90percentofeverything.com.

What you need to know about eye tracking

When you see a heatmap for the first time, you are probably so busy saying “wow!” that you forget to critically evaluate what you are seeing. It’s easy to feel intimidated. The technology involved is phenomenal.But this doesn’t mean all research done on an eye tracker is infallible – far from it. This talk is intended to give you a heads-up on how to think critically about eye tracking.
