Interaction Design Leadership: Lessons Learned

I had the opportunity to lead an exceptionally large and challenging design project for a year. The team consisted of 20+ interaction designers, a group of ten visual designers, half a dozen usability experts, and prototypers.

Although the designs are still confidential at the time of UX LX, I will present insights about how to lead the design effort in such a complex design project. I will discuss topics related to design direction, process, tools, and people. The findings will be condensed to a dozen practical insights that will help and inspire people who work in design direction role in large projects, and it will help designers in such projects to understand better the point of view of their design leaders.
